Maintenance instructions for TPE dolls
Clean the doll with a soft cloth and warm water.
You can clean the doll with a soft cloth and warm water. Hot water may cause the TPE to deform, so do not use hot water on the doll. Alcohol and vinegar will break down TPE and dissolve glue, so these should also not be used to clean your doll's skin. Do not use a toothbrush to clean any part of the doll's body: it may cause scratches that can cause tiny tears in its skin over time, which can lead to degradation of the material or even mold growth inside it! Also, never use sponges either—the rough texture might scratch your toy's delicate surface as well!
Do not use abrasive detergents, chemical cleaners or solvents.
There are a few things that you should avoid when cleaning your doll. The first is using any abrasive detergents, chemicals or solvents to clean your doll. These could damage the TPE material and cause it to become discolored. If you have any questions about what is safe to use on your doll, check with the manufacturer's website or call them directly for more information.
The second thing you should avoid is submerging your doll in water for long periods of time as this may cause condensation inside the body cavity which could lead to mold growth if not dried properly after washing. Dry with a soft cloth and brush to straighten wigs, moustaches, beards and eyebrows.
Use a soft cloth to dry your doll.
Brush the wig, moustache, beard or eyebrows with a brush that has soft plastic bristles. Do not use a hair dryer on your TPE Doll! Do not use a hair straightener on your TPE Doll!
Non-standing version prohibits standing
You should not allow your doll to lean against things, such as walls or doors.
You should not allow your doll's joints and limbs to be stretched out very far at all times; this will cause degradation of the TPE over time, which could negatively affect its appearance and/or performance in use (especially if you're using it with another person). If a joint needs repeated stretching, then consider switching positions with some regularity (e.g., every 5 minutes), so that each joint has an opportunity for rest between stretches so that it doesn't become too fatigued by being held in one position for too long without a break; this will help ensure longevity of both the TPE material itself as well as its overall appearance/performance over time!
Store horizontally on the bed or in a cabinet.
Store your TPE doll horizontally on the bed or in a cabinet. You should keep it in a cool and dry place. Storing your doll notably below room temperature is not recommended because it can cause damage to the material of your doll.
Your TPE dolls are able to withstand changes in heat and humidity, but can be damaged if placed in an excessively hot or humid location for long periods of time.
Provide weekly maintenance of your TPE dolls
Cleaning: Use water and a gentle soap to clean the doll, but don't use anything too harsh.
Drying: Use a towel to dry off the doll immediately after cleaning it. If you let it sit in water too long it will become damaged, so be careful!
Bend limbs often so they don't get too stiff or brittle over time.
